Dorothy Moore

My name is Dorothy Moore. I am originally from Huntington, West Virginia and am a Birthright Member of the Monacan Indian Nation headquartered in Amherst, Virginia. My family includes more than 26 aunts, uncles and cousins, the majority of whom have served or are now proudly serving in the military services of the United States. I am currently volunteering my second stint as Secretary of the NAIA Board of Directors. I enjoy music and being a member of the Worship Team of Grove Church in Smyrna, TN, where I play keyboard and my husband plays bass guitar. My career history includes 52 years of employment in 8 different states as well as in Ipswitch, England, where my husband served in the US Air Force. My ultimate life goal is to help others; and my association with NAIA gives me more opportunity to do so. I enjoy handcrafts such as beadwork, crochet and pencil sketching, and bragging on my 2 children, their spouses, and my 8 grandchildren.
