Dorothy, a Birthright Member of the Monacan Indian Nation in Amherst, Virginia, is currently serving as Secretary to the NAIA Board of Directors. Her career history includes 52 years of employment in 8 different states as well as in Ipswitch, England, where her husband served in the US Air Force. She states her ultimate life goal is to befriend and help others, and appreciates the fact that NAIA gives her more opportunity to do so. She loves animals and enjoys handicrafts such as beadwork, crochet, and pencil sketching, as well as bragging on her 2 children and their spouses, 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
